Volunteer Board of Directors Information
Board members invest a considerable amount of personal time fulfilling their Board responsibilities, preparing for meetings, and attending training sessions. Current Board members spend an average of 3 to 5 hours per month meeting their responsibilities. It is important that you understand this is strictly a volunteer position, and each Board Member is elected to serve a three-year term. Also, there is no monetary compensation for services rendered.
Regular monthly meetings are normally held on the third or fourth Tuesday of each month and commence promptly at 4:00 p.m. and last until around 6:00 pm. Board members are expected to be on time and actively engage in meetings.

Qualified members of Southern Pine Credit Union may apply by April 30, 2024 for a position to serve on our Board of Directors. The Board Nominating Committee will review accurately completed applications and resumes, and they will contact you for an interview, if you are selected as one of the finalists for further consideration. Candidates not selected will be notified.
